Mr. Aaron Curtis Herrin, 62, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah, GA.
Curt was born in Savannah, GA on May 4, 1957 to Aaron E. and Eloise Herrin. He was a member of West Chatham Baptist Church Pooler and worked as an electrician for many years. Spending time with family and friends, gardening, fishing, and cooking brought great joy to his life.
He is preceded in death by: his father, Aaron E. Herrin; brother, David E. Herrin; and sister, Mona Herrin Collins.
Survivors include: his loving wife, Ouida Kay Herrin of Brooklet; mother, Eloise Herrin of Pooler; daughters, Carmen Becky Johnston(Randall) of Rincon and Ashley Danielle Barnes of St. Petersburg, FL; son, Corey Michael Ham(Megan) of Guyton; grandchildren: Amy E. Frost, Mason J. Frost, Camryn L. Frost, Dalayna K. Johnston, Jacob E. Barnes, Emily L. Burnsed, Kayleigh D. Burnsed, Jackson G. Ham. and Reid M. Ham; great grandchild, Kaison J. Frost; beloved four-legged companion, Lucy; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends.
A visitation will be held for family and friends at Riggs Funeral Home on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 4 – 5PM with services to follow at 5PM in the chapel of the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 2PM on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at Corinth Leefield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made in Mr. Herrin’s name towards Riggs Funeral Home, 1979 Hwy 119 South, Guyton, GA 31312.
