-Guyton- Mr. Adolph O'Quinn, 88, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018, at his residence.
Mr. Adolph was born on March 6, 1929 in Bluffton, South Carolina to Walter and Laura O'Quinn. He retired from Great Dane after many years of service and he will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Laura O'Quinn; son, Dennis O'Quinn; and sisters, Frances Brown, Jean Bunton and Emma Criddle.
Survivors include: his loving wife of 24 years, Mary O'Quinn; daughter, Patty Edwards (Mark) of Guyton; step-daughters, Diane Fernandez of Anna Maria Island, FL, Elaine Byrd of Blackshear, GA and Joan Wilson of Arcadia, FL; step-sons, Garland Miley of Sarasota, FL and Kenneth Lee of St. Augustine, FL; brothers, Joe O'Quinn of Bluffton, SC and Herbert O'Quinn of Bluffton, SC; sisters, Gladys Koss of Savannah, GA and Yvonne Stephens of Kent, NY; and a number of grandchildren and friends.
Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon with funeral services to follow at noon in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Elkins Cemtery.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Carter, Mark Anderson, Mark Edwards, Patty Edwards, Edward Beasley, Sr. and Bob Cope, Jr.
