Anne Chism

Anne Chism,88, of Effingham County, Georgia passed away on February 27, 2021 under the care of Compassion Hospice surrounded by her sons.

Anne was born on March 22, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was raised in Philadelphia for her first 20 years. She worked at the Wilmington Delaware Memorial Hospital for 25 years and retired as Administrative Supervisor.

Anne worked hard and raised four boys. Surviving her are her sons, Steve Collum and spouse Ellen, Robert Collum, William Collum, and Dean Collum, all from Effingham County. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Rob Collum Jr. and spouse Lauren of Effingham County, Jennifer Winchell of Nashville, Tennessee, Stephen Collum Jr. of Denver, Colorado, and Andrea Bragg of New Castle, Delaware. Anne has four great grandchildren, Robbie and Cameron Collum of Effingham County, and Bryson and Kylie Winchell of Nashville, Tennessee. She also has four great great grandchildren, Easton Deal, Adleigh and Ava Collum, and Isabella Collum. Anne was preceded in death by her parents Giacinto Pili (Gene) and Margaret Pili of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, brother Freddy Pili, sister Phyllis Batista, and husband Robert Chism of South Chester, Pennsylvania.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4th at the Saint Boniface Catholic Church in Springfield, Georgia. Immediately following the visitation there will be a service and Mass at 12p.m.
