Ashley Nicole Scarboro

Ashley Nicole Scarboro,32, tragically passed away February 1st, 2018 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

She was residing in Newnan, Georgia with her mother, step father Aaron Payton and her youngest daughter. Ashley was born on September 18th, 1985 in Savannah, Georgia to Larry Scarboro and Mary Melissa Scarboro Payton. She has two older brothers named Stephen Tootle (Jacquelyn Tootle) and Jason Payton (Melissa Payton), one older sister named Cristy Scarboro (Jarad Ward) and three younger sisters named Jessica Scarboro (Bieanca Allicock), Megan Payton and Kaylee Scarboro.

She attended high school at Groves High School in Garden City, Georgia and earned her GED. Some of her accomplishments include being on one of the first women's firefighting teams that fought the Okefenokee Swamp fire, becoming a first responder and earning a master's in culinary arts. She loved amusement parks, comedy, being on the ocean, boating, fishing and most of all spending time with her children.

She is survived by her mother, step father, two brothers, three sisters, five nieces, seven nephews and her three children Cameron Scarboro, Breyanna Akuffo and Kensleigh Scarboro. She was predeceased by her father, paternal grandfather, grandmother and maternal grandmother.

Her service will be held in Guyton, Georgia at Riggs Funeral Home on Sunday February 11th from 2pm-4pm for the viewing, 4pm-5pm for the service and 5pm-6pm for the burial.

Her favorite Bible verse was John 3:16- "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life". Three words that sum up her life would be "Live, Laugh, and Love"
