Benjamin Cole Jenkins, 37, passed away in Hinesville, Georgia on Thursday, June 15, 2023.
Benjamin was born in Savannah, Georgia, on May 30, 1986, to Faron and Leslie Jenkins and lived in Effingham County most of his life. He worked for a number of years at the Oglethorpe Speedway and always enjoyed watching the races and most recently worked as a body tech at DNA Designs. In his free time, Ben enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors riding his four-wheeler. Ben was known as the family prankster and always enjoyed giving his family a good laugh. Ben’s big smile and kind heart will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by: his mother, Leslie Jenkins; and grandparents, Charlotte and Lyman Hinson, and Madison “Pick” Jenkins.
Ben leaves behind three children, Coleby Jenkins of Springfield, Preston Hann of Brunswick, and Kylee-Rae Jenkins of Springfield; father, Faron Jenkins of Guyton; sisters, Kimberly Boyles (Wendell) of Clyo and Hannah Jenkins of Guyton; grandmother, Geraldine Jenkins of Guyton; girlfriend, Casey Conklin of Guyton; niece, Gracie Boyles of Clyo; nephew, Steven Boyles of Clyo; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 6 to 7pm with a celebration of life to follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 7pm.
