Brandon Austin Stodghill

-Rincon- Brandon Austin Stodghill, 38, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022.

Brandon was born in Savannah, Georgia on February 26, 1984, to Leslie and Cheryl Stodghill and lived in Effingham County all his life. He was a believer in Christ, enjoyed fishing, and hunting for arrowheads. Above all he loved his family and absolutely adored his children, Austin and Allie.

Brandon had an especially close bond with his daughter, Allie, who he was teaching about Jesus and together they were excitedly expecting their cat to have kittens. He loved his son, Austin, who is pretty grown up now, but he wanted more than anything for his son to know how much he loved him and how very proud he was of the man he is becoming.

He is preceded in death by his father, Leslie Stodghill; brother-in-law, Robert Floyd; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Survivors include: his children, Allie and Austin Stodghill; mother, Cheryl Edwards; sister, Melanie Stodghill; niece, Avery Floyd; aunts, uncles, cousins, and his mothers very close friend, Barbara Campbell, who helped bring Brandon into this world.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
