Bruce Gilbert Knight, Jr.

Bruce Gilbert Knight, Jr., 72, passed away in Savannah on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

Bruce was born in Hahira, Georgia on June 9, 1950, to Bruce, Sr. and Ferris Knight but lived in Bloomingdale for a number of years. He was a maintenance supervisor for the City of Savannah and retired after many years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed the hobby as a musician playing many different musical instruments and many different styles of music. Blues and Rock and Roll were his favorite kinds of music. Among other interests were Harley Motorcycles, guns, old Ford trucks, and rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs. At the top of list for enjoying life was spending time with his family and sharing memories. Go TRUMP!

He is preceded in death by: his loving wife, Vicki Knight; parents, Bruce, Sr. and Ferris Knight; and his beloved four-legged companion, Georgia.

Survivors include: his children, Lynn Schroeder (Ray) of Hazlehurst, Tripp Knight of Leesburg, and Matt Knight (Shelly) of Belleview, FL; grandchildren, Brandon Schroeder, Shane Schroeder, Breanna Schroeder, Garret Suiter, Dakota Knight, Marley Knight, Lexi Knight, Linkin Knight, Allie Marchant, Alyssa Marchant, Andrew Luke and MaeMae Aycock; and great grandchildren, Brentley Schroeder, Haisley Schroeder, Colson William Lovett, and Juliet Claire Irwin.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 6-8pm.
