Caren Edwards

Caren Edwards,69, was born April 20, 1955, in Gallipolis, OH to Joseph Arthur and Gladys Marie {Spencer} Scott. She left us too soon, on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

Caren resided in Parkersburg, WV until she moved to Guyton, Ga. She loved live music, sunbathing, boat rides, her puppy Teddy, gardening, sewing, motorcycle rides, but mostly, she loved quality time with friends and family. 

She survived by, and will be deeply missed by, her husband, Jeffrey; daughter, Savannah; and granddaughter, Samira {Edwards} Fleming; sister, Nancy McDade; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Caren was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Gladys Scott; grandparents, Ivy Spencer and George & Ethel Scott; twin brother, Carl; brother, Joe Scott; and son, Shawn Wiseman. 

There will never be another quite like her, and those who knew her feel so very lucky to have had her in their lives. The world is a little less bright, but she will shine down from the sun to warm our hearts.
