Carolyn (Underwood) Fields

Carolyn Underwood Fields, 77, passed away, Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

She was born in Glenwood, GA and lived most of her life in Rincon.

Carolyn enjoyed sewing, reading, watching sports especially the Atlanta Braves, and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sanford and Faye Underwood; her sister, Betty Chambers; daughter in law, Kasey Fields; and nephew, Timothy Underwood.

Survivors include her husband, William Michael “Mike” Fields; son, Michael “Sean” Fields; daughter, Stephanie Fields Arnsdorff (Wesley); grandchildren, Lyncoln Fields, Bishop Fields, Ryan Jackson (Gina), Stephen Jackson, Nathaniel “Nate” Jackson, Ella Arnsdorff, and Eden Arnsdorff; brothers, Sonny Underwood (Mona), and Gene Underwood (Donna); nieces and nephews, Chris Barnard (Pam), Troy Barnard, Kate Busbee (Daniel), Amy Underwood and Holly Shuman.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 11:00am in the chapel of the funeral home.
