-Rincon- Mr. Carroll Davis, Jr., 62, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016.
Carroll was born in Savannah, Georgia, lived in Effingham County for many years, and was a machinist at Union Camp Corporation.
Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Claudine Davis and sister, Catherine Proctor.
Survivors include his children, Carroll "Trey" Davis, III (Courtney) of Rincon, Amy Davis Watson (Joseph) of Rincon and Leslie Davis Bowen (Buddy) of Guyton; brother, Timothy Davis (BJ) of Rincon and four grandchildren, Noah, Carmen, Lawton and Peyton.
Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 6 - 8 p.m. Burial will be private.
