Cathy Davis Proctor

-Brooklet- Mrs. Cathy Davis Proctor, 57, raised in Rincon, GA, resided in Stilson, GA, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016.
Her parents were Duck and Claudine Davis. She was the youngest of three. She graduated from Effingham County High School.
In 1977, she married her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, David Proctor. They were happily married for thirty-eight years and had four children.
Cathy spent most of her married years raising her four children as a homemaker. She drove a school bus for Effingham County for sixteen years. She attended Rincon United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and the men's group, Journeymen of Praise.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, David Proctor, who loved her unconditionally. Her four children left behind are Rebecca Stewart, Jennifer Thornton(Randy), William Proctor and Joshua Proctor(Lindsay). She leaves behind eight grandchildren, who meant the world to her. Caleb, Benjamin, Olivia, Elaine, Allison, Nora, Tripp and Natalie. She leaves behind Timothy Davis, her brother. And she preceded in death by her other brother Carroll Davis. She also leaves several beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and so many others.
Funeral services will be held at Rincon United Methodist Church on Wednesday, October 26. Visitation will be from 4-6pm and the memorial services will begin at 6:30pm.
