Charles "Charlie" Morgan

-Guyton- Charles “Charlie” Morgan, 72, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at PineView Nursing Home in Sylvania, Georgia.

Charlie was a member of New Providence Baptist Church and worked alongside Mack and Linda Edwards and Mack’s Service Station in Guyton for many years. In his free time, Charlie enjoyed going out to eat and fishing.

Charlie leaves behind his long-time friends, Linda Edwards, Mike and Misty Edwards, Cole Edwards, Mackena Edwards, Karleigh Butler, Lacy Hively, Steve and Becky Edwards, RJ Edwards, Diana Edwards, Linda Edwards and Ilah Edwards; a number of extended family members; and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charlie’s memory to New Providence Children's Ministry and Youth Group, P.O. Box 98, Guyton, Georgia 31312 or to Catie’s Fund – Cure Childhood Cancer, 200 Ashford Center North, Suite 250, Atlanta, Georgia 30338.

Visitation will be held at Carlson and Riggs Funeral Home on Monday, June 6, 2022, from 12noon-2pm with a funeral service to follow at 2pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Silverhill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
