Charles "Charlie" (Daydreamer) Todd

-Faulkville- Mr. Charles “Charlie” Frederick Todd, 64, passed away February 28, 2019 in Dorchester County, South Carolina. Charlie was known on the road by his fellow truck drivers as “Daydreamer”.

Charlie was born in Savannah, Georgia and had lived in Effingham County for many years. He was a truck driver for 30 years, working as an owner and operator for QFS Transportation. Prior to working in the trucking industry, he worked for Coca – Cola as a delivery driver before moving up to being an outside representative. Seeing new places while trucking brought much joy to his life. Charlie also loved spending time with his family and dogs as well as fishing, racing and being outdoors.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Kenneth Todd, Sr. and Joan Todd; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Todd, Jr. and Peggy Sue Todd; nephew, Adam Celeste; and grandmother, Gladys Fitzsimmons.

Survivors include: his wife, Crystal Lee of Faulkville; son and daughter-in-law, Charles “Elton” and Shannon Todd and their children, Preston and Madison Todd; step daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Steve Hibbard; sisters, Laura Simone (James) and their daughter, Jamison Simone, Nancy Parker and Cindy Todd;  nieces, Aubrey Limentato (David) and their daughters, Francesca and Caroline Limentato, and Tina Celeste; nephew, Joey Celeste (Lisa) and their children, Mindy, Christopher, Justin and Jeremy.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
