What brought the greatest fulfillment to Mrs. Christine's life were her husband, children, grandchildren and her 6 beloved dogs. She was an avid Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Bulldog fan and enjoyed life to the fullest.
She is preceded in death: by her father, Lloyd Brown, Sr.; mother, Janie Altman; son, Jason Kicklighter; brother-in-law, Frank Walker; niece, Shelley Williamson; and great niece, Shelyn Williamson.
Survivors include: her loving husband, Gordon Hale; son, Nick Kicklighter (Ashlie) of Rincon; daughter, Ashley Downing (Michael) of Guyton; grandchildren, Mabry Scruggs, Eli Kicklighter, Caden Kicklighter, Kaylah Kicklighter, Kylee Kicklighter, Coby Downing, Drayden Downing, Bentley Downing, Emma Downing, Dayton Kicklighter, AJ Kicklighter and Memphis Kicklighter; brothers, Joe Rucker of Springfield and Lloyd Brown, Jr. of Rincon; sisters, Sheila Barnett (Bobby) of Springfield and Carla Walker of Springfield; step-father, Vernon Altman of Springfield; daughter-in-law, Andrea Kicklighter of Guyton; mother-in-law, Grace Hale of Rincon; nephew, Michael Brown; niece, Brittany Brown; and number of other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 5 - 7 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Garden City Primitive Baptist Church on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in memory of Mrs. Christine to the Effingham County Navigator Team, PO Box 185, Rincon, GA 31326 or to Compassionate Friends, PO Box 3696, Oak Brook IL 60522-3696
