Derek Tater

Derek Tater, 51, passed away, Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Candler Hospital.

Derek loved going on trips with his family and always enjoyed life to the fullest. He also enjoyed playing golf, watching football and coaching almost all sports.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Tater; and brother-in-law, Michael Karas.

Survivors include: his loving wife, Gina Tater; children, Cooper and Hayley Tater; mother, Doris Tater; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mike and Shirley Karas; brother, Steve Tater(Kim); brothers-in-law, Richie Karas, and Nick Karas (Katie); nephew, Nolan Tater; nieces, Leah Tater, Parker Karas, and Aubrey Karas; and many other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 5:00pm at St. Barnabas Church, 9451 Brandywine Road, Northfield, Ohio 44067 with a gathering following at the VFW, 8584 Old 8 Road, Northfield, Ohio 44067.
