Elizabeth Hartman, 62, of Rincon, Georgia,i�½i�½passed away on March 1, 2014, at her home, due to complications related to diabetes. i�½i�½Visitation will be held fromi�½i�½on Sunday,i�½i�½March 9, 2014, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Riggs Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. Beth was born on March 20, 1951,in Fort Madison, Iowa, to William and Carol Abolt. i�½i�½She spent most of her earlier life in Rock Island, Illinois, andi�½i�½wasi�½i�½a homemaker until 1995 when she moved to Rincon, Georgia, and began a second career in the hospitalityi�½i�½business. i�½i�½Know for her lighthearted and positive approach to life, Bethi�½i�½loved to be around her friends and family, especially her grandchildren, and could always be counted on to brighten up any gathering. i�½i�½ She is survived by her four children: i�½i�½Joshua of Washington D.C., Aaroni�½i�½and wife Amy, of Wolcott, CT, Adrianne and husband Angel of Kansas City, KS, and Matthew and wife Sherrie ofi�½i�½Hamilton, AL; and eight grandchildren, William, Rebecca Anne, Terrionah, Hannah, Jasman, Alex, John, and Ruby. i�½i�½She is also survived by her brothers Mark Abolt and John Abolt.i�½i�½ i�½i�½ In lieu of flowers,i�½i�½the family requests that donationsi�½i�½be made to the National Diabetes Foundation at https://donations.diabetes.org/site/Donation2?df_id=2540&2540.donation=form1&loc=wtg-slabnav. i�½i�½
