Ethel Virginia Lamb

Ethel Virginia Lamb, 83, entered eternal rest suddenly on Thursday, February 25, 2021, after just settling in at Lakeview Manor in Springfield.

She was born on December 27, 1937 in Emanual County and resided in Effingham County, Georgia. A graduate of Commercial High School, she worked at Roger Wood and raised her 5 Children. Virginia then joined Gulfstream Aerospace and retired after twenty-three years of service. After retirement she enjoyed spending time at Krystal’s with her breakfast (Brunch) friends. She never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Rozelle Lamb; and brother, David Lamb.

Those she left behind are her children, Danny Kessler (Jayceen), Dennis Kessler (Hannah), Denise Frazier (Mark), Donna Kessler, and Dale Haldeman (Robert); brother, Edward Lamb (Doris); sister, Linda Lamb (Randy); fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3-5pm on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 5:00pm.

Interment will be held at 12pm on Monday, March 1, 2021, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
