Frank Lindsey Reid, Jr.

Frank Lindsey Reid, Jr., 71, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at home with his family by his side.

Frank was born on October 26, 1952, in Charleston, SC. He lived in Florida most of his life until he took residence in Effingham County in 2000 with his children and grandchildren.

He graduated from St. Cloud High School, before joining the Navy where he proudly served his country.

Frank worked in construction most of his life. He loved to travel, being outdoors and being at the beach. Most of all, Frank loved having cookouts and being with family.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Reid of Guyton; son, Aaron Reid (Marie) and their child, Anthony of Florida; son, Bobby McCloud (Stephanie) and their children, Hailynn & Koralee of Springfield; son, Rusty Reid (Heather) and their children, Royce, Memphis, Landon, Jaysa and Harliegh of Bloomingdale; son, Rock Reid (Jennifer) and their children, Hayden, Braelyn and Brayden of Guyton; daughter, Daiquiri NeSmith (Dillon) and their children, Riley, Mason and Cayson of Guyton; mother, Betty Vidas of Florida; sisters, Susan Flowers of Florida and Debra Faulk (Brian) of Arkansas; brother, Mike Reid of Arkansas; special nephews and nieces, Michael Pittman (Amber) and their children, Madi, Tessa, Landon, and Liam or Guyton, Chris Pittman (Arika) and their children, Zander and Wyatt of Guyton, and Brandy Morrison (Jason) and their children, Baylee, Jakira, Kayra and Kaiden of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
