Franklin L. Coleman, Sr.

Guyton- Mr. Franklin L. Coleman, Sr.,81, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022, at Effingham County Hospital.

Franklin was born on August 29, 1941, in Effingham County to Benjamin and Maggie Coleman, where he lived his whole life. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing in the Ogeechee River and working in his yard, tending to his flowers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Maggie Coleman; and brothers, James Eugene Coleman and Robert L. Coleman, Sr.

Survivors include: his children, Franklin L. Coleman, Jr., Angie Jerald, Maxine Willock, Stephanie Miller, and Jessica Coleman; brother, Gary Coleman; sisters, Mary Lillian Williams, and Miriam Babb; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Guyton Cemetery on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 2pm
