-Springfield- Mr. Grover Bernard "G.B." Edwards, 81, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018, at Effingham County Extended Care.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Bessie Leona Edwards; and brothers, Noah Edwards, Jr., William Edwards and Hopper Edwards.
Survivors include: his brother, Gene Autry Edwards of Springfield; sisters, Audrey E. Edwards of Springfield and Virginia Williamson of Savannah; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018, from 10AM - 11AM at Silverhill United Methodist Church with funeral services to follow at 11AM. Burial will be held in the Silverhill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
