Howard Lavern Beebe, Jr.

Springfield- Howard “Bubba” Lavern Beebe Jr., 56, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Effingham Hospital.

Howard was born on September 9, 1966 to the late Howard and Laura (Annette) Beebe in Savannah, Georgia. He worked for the City of Springfield, where he retired, in September, 2021. In his free time, Howard loved going fishing and being with family. He always had a joke and would light up the room with his presence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Laura Beebe; and grandparents, Oliver and Orrie Mae Beebe, Walter Douglas and Ann Lanier.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Cindy Collins Beebe of Springfield; sisters, Sherri Williams (Michael) of Springfield, and Angie Altman of Pooler; children, Howard Beebe (Kasey) of Springfield, Diane Jones of Springfield, Holly Wilson (Jason) of Brooklet, and Toby Fuller (Stormie) of Springfield; step children, John Olgesby (Kimberly) of Springfield, Bridget Sessions (Kyle) of Springfield, and Larry Smith (Alyssa) of Guyton; 17 grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews,  numerous friends and in laws.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Springfield Annex Cemetery.
