Howard Lavern Beebe, Sr.

-Guyton- Mr. Howard Lavern Beebe, Sr., 79, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at his residence.

Mr. Howard was born in Springfield, GA on December 16, 1939 to Oliver and Orrie Mae Beebe. He was a Veteran serving in the United States Army National Guard and retired from Coastal Transport (CTI) as a logistics dispatcher.

He is preceded in death by: his wife, Laura Annette Beebe; parents, Oliver and Orrie Mae Beebe; sister, May Franks: and brother, Rolin S. Beebe.

Survivors include: his children, Sherri Williams (Mike) of Springfield, Angie Altman of Pooler, and Howard Beebe, Jr. (Cindy) of Springfield; brother, William Beebe of Guyton; sister, Faye Ricord of Rincon; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 10am to 11am with funeral services to follow in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Springfield Annex.

Pallbearers will be: T.J. Altman, Michael Williams, Larry Smith, Shawn Franks, Joey Beebe and Mike Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be: Mike Waters, Matt Rogers, John Oglesby, Howard Beebe, III, and Toby Fuller.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to Hospice Savannah.
