James Christopher Berry, Jr.

Guyton- James Christopher Berry, Jr., 60, passed away, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving sons.

James was born July 13, 1961 and resided in Screven County for most of his life, before moving to Effingham County to live with his sons.

Following graduation from Screven County High School, James had many career paths before become disabled. He was a framer, worked at the airport, a roofer, and a tree surgeon.

Survivors include: his parents, James Christoper Berry, Sr. and Margie Collins Berry; brother, Joe Clifton Berry; sons, Christoper Matthew Berry, James Cody Berry, and Kaleb Dustin Berry; and  grandson, James Gregory Berry.

The family will receive friends from 11-12pm on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home with a service following at 12:00pm in the chapel.

Interment will follow the service at Jackson Baptist Church Cemetery in Screven.
