James "Jimmy" David Farmer

James "Jimmy" David Farmer passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Jimmy was a loyal Christian and a member of Turkey Branch Baptist Church. His life was lived by being a loyal servant to his family, church and visiting the nursing home and shut-ins. He is preceded in death by his parents, John F. Farmer, Sr. and Lillian Saxon Farmer; one brother, John F. Farmer, Jr.; sister-in-law, Annie Mae Arnsdorff Farmer Smith; nephew, Joseph A. Joyner and great niece, JoAnita Joyner. He is survived by his caregiver and niece, Joyce Joyner Jenkins; great neice, Judy J. Fultz and husband Mark T. Fultz; great great niece and nephew, Chase and Sydney Fultz; aunt, JoOllie Steed and special friends, Rachel and Ellis Wilson. Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Monday, December 29 , 2014 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Turkey Branch Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Silverhill Methodist Church Cemetery.
