James Paul Scott

James Paul Scott, 58, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah.

James was born December 10, 1960 in Martin County, Kentucky. James retired from the City of Rincon in the public works department. He loved his family and especially loved his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Jerome and Bessie Scott; son, Jeffrey Scott; daughter, Jeanette Scott; and sisters, Lilly McKinney and Polly Barboza.

Survivors include: his wife, Debra Scott of Springfield; sons, Thomas Scott of Guyton and Sean Conn of Savannah; daughter, Megan Conn of Savannah; brothers, Jemone Scott of Claxton and Johnny Scott of Kentucky; sisters, Mary Maynard, Shirley Maynard and Exie Dillon all of Kentucky; and his 8 grandchildren that he loved so much.

A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
