-Clyo- Mr. James Darrell Steed, 60, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018, at his residence.
Darrell was born in Savannah, Georgia on June 1, 1957 to Malcolm and Mary Steed. He worked for many years as a well driller at Georgia Pacific. Spending time with his family and cooking brought much joy to his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Steed.
Survivors include: his daughter, Kayla Samuel(Nate) of Clyo; mother, Mary Steed of Clyo; brothers, Benjie Steed of Clyo, Brucie Steed of Guyton and Byron Steed of Clyo; sisters, Angela Joyner (Donnie) of Springfield and Terri Mock (David) of Newington; and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 6 - 8PM. Memorial services will be held at 5PM on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Clyo United Methodist Church.
