-Clyo- Mr. John H. Hyman, 76, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017, at his residence.
Mr. John was born in Swansea, South Carolina, on January 12, 1940, to William and Myrtie Hyman. He was unable to work, but kept himself very busy taking care of all his family and their needs. John gained much pleasure from the menial tasks of life, such as reminding all of upcoming birthdays or special events, delivering the mail from the mailbox to inside each of the family's homes, and so much more.
Survivors include: his beloved pet "body guard," Jill; sister, Mary Jane Hyman of Clyo; a number of nieces and nephews; a number of great nieces and nephews; a number of great great nieces and nephews; many other family members; and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held from 3 - 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Silver Hill United Methodist Church with funeral services to follow at 4 p.m. Burial will be held in the Silver Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
