Johnnie G. Stone

Mr. Johnnie G. Stone, 67, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, Georgia.

Mr. Johnnie was born in Savannah, Georgia on July 20, 1953 to Adrian and Lena Stone. He retired from Union Camp after many years of service and then began baling hay. In his free time, Mr. Johnnie, enjoyed spending time with his loving family, hunting, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Lena Stone; son, Jeffrey Stone; 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include: his loving wife of 47 years, Ann Stone; daughter, Jennifer Rhoden (Joseph) of Waycross; grandchildren, Leena Rhoden, Anthony Rhoden, and Jessica Rhoden all of Waycross; sisters, Frances Ashley of Tennessee, and Elaine Green (Bobby) of Waynesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Corinth Baptist Church on Monday, May 10, 2021, from 1 -2pm with funeral services to follow at 2pm. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
