Joseph Perrone

-Rincon- Mr. Joseph Perrone, 77, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital. Mr. Perrone was restaurant owner/operator and attended St. Boniface Catholic Church. He was a Marine Corp. Veteran serving in Korea and Veitnam, was a member of the VFW and was a member of the Marine Heritage Foundation. Survivors include: his loving wife, Rosanne Perrone; mother, Patrina Perrone; son, Joe Gherardia III or Lexington, South Carolina; daughter, Susan Lynn Shutz of Plainsboro, New Jersey and brother, Thomas Brenton of St. Lois, Missouri. Visitation was held on Thursday, January 13, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. at Riggs Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 14, 2014 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with interment following at 3 p.m. in Glennville, Georgia at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
