Kevin Ivan Chavez Velez

-Guyton- Kevin Ivan Chavez Velez was born on January 28, 2016 to parents Cesar Chavez Padilla and Kathy Velez Martinez. Kevin was called to his eternal home on October 16 around 3:30 PM. Kevin's Family was blessed to spend a short 8 months with him before he put on his heavenly wings. Kevin loved to smile, be around people and be cuddled on by everyone. He came with a lot of joy and lot of happiness even though he did not have the chance to do what normal 8-month olds do. Kevin now will never have to suffer hospitals, surgeries, doctors, needles or any other sorrows. Though Kevin is not physically here with us, he will forever live in our hearts.

Kevin will be deeply missed by his mommy and daddy; big sister, Yasmin Chavez Velez; big brother, Angel Chavez Marquez; grandmothers, Migdalia Velez and Himelda Padilla Serna; grandfather, Benjamin Velez; aunts, Keila Velez, Erika Chavez, Marisol Chavez, Hilda Chavez and Flor Orozco; uncles, Alexander Velez, Daniel Chavez, Jose D Jesus Chavez and Israel Lara; Godmother, Suhalie Velez; Godfather, Tito Rivera; the entire Velez Family, Chavez Family, Martinez Velez and Padilla Family.

Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 5 - 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2016 in the chapel of the funeral home with interment to follow in the Effingham Memorial Gardens.
