-Springfield- Mr. Larry Miller, 69, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017, at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
Mr. Miller was born in Statesboro, Georgia on July 7, 1947 to Waldo and Josey Miller. He lived in Effingham County for a number of years, and worked as a painter for Great Dane for many years before starting his own painting business.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include: his wife, Carol Miller; children, Michael and Sherri Petrea of Guyton, Michelle Miller of Springfield, Lisa and Robbie Fort of Guyton, Katie and Eric Green of Port Wentworth, and Donna and Tim Tuttle of Springfield; siblings, Wayne and Fran Miller of Clyo, Brenda and Michael Dant of Clyo and Janice and Denny Gordon of Atlanta; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, from 6 - 8 p.m. with a celebration of life to follow at 8 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
