Laura Claudine Hodges

-Clyo- Mrs. Laura Claudine Hodges, 76, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Claudine was born in Clyo, Georgia on February 24, 1945 to Julian and Laura Bunch. She enjoyed cooking, embroidering, and camping when she was able. Above all Mrs. Claudine loved spending time with her wonderful family and being able to be a part of the Georgia Hunting & Fishing Federation.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Laura Bunch; and brothers, David Bunch, Charles Bunch, and Miles Bunch.

Survivors include: her loving husband of 57 years, Nathaniel Hodges; daughter, Bonnie Richardson (John) of Springfield; son, Alan Hodges of Clyo; brother, James Bunch (Cathy) of Springfield, Anthony Bunch of Springfield, and Stanley Bunch of Springfield; sister, Linda Edwards (Lloyd) of Clyo; sister in law, Sally Bunch; granddaughter, Brittany Hodges of Jesup; step-grandchildren, Skylar Morrison of Tennessee, Casey Morrison of Tennessee, and Tiffany Hodges of Jesup; and great granddaughter, Nevaeh Powell of Jesup.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021, from 5 – 7pm at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Stillwell Cemetery.

The family would like to express their thankfulness to Mrs. Claudine’s healthcare aid, Barbara Sanderson and to the wonderful nurses at Ogeechee Area Hospice.
