-Springfield- Lawrence Joseph Cranford was born on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 to parents Christopher Cranford and Casey Clifton at Effingham County Hospital. Lawrence's family was blessed to spend 19 days with Lawrence, before he took on his heavenly wings from Egleston Children's Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 28, 2014. Lawrence is deeply loved by his mommy and daddy, big brothers, Mathayus and Leroy McCloud; big sister, Kaileigh Cranford; maternal grandparents, Dorothy "Tinker" Hopf and George R. Jenkins; maternal great grandparents, Theylar Hopf McKenzie and Joseph McKenzie; paternal grandparents, Lana McCorkle and Charles McCorkle; paternal great-grandparents, Glenda Cranford and Jesse Cranford and serveral aunts, unlces and cousins. Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 7 - 9 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014 in the Springfield Annex.
