Linda Bird

Rincon- Linda Bird, 75, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, at her home surrounded by friends and family.

Ms. Linda was a caregiver, known by her children as the strongest woman they will ever know. She enjoyed taking care of her family and making sure everyone stayed together. She never met a stranger and treated everyone she knew as if they were family. Linda had a passion for gardening, cooking fried chicken and listening to Elvis. She was loved by everyone who knew her.

Linda is preceded in death by her father, Henry Franklin Thomas; mother, Mary Helen Cannon Thomas; sister, Rebecca Thomas; and daughter, Christina Bird.

She is survived by the love of her life, Lee Talbott; children, Wayne (Lynda) Bird, Donnie Bird, Danny (Michelle) Bird, Allen (Michelle) Bird; brother, John Webster Thomas; grandchildren, DeWayne (Ashley) Bird, David Bird, Sabre (John Robere) Bird, AJ (Kacey) Bird, Jonathan Bird, Michael Bird, Kaleb Bird, Shaiann Bird, Daniel (Tiffany) Bird, Jr., Destiny Wiley, Austin Wiley, Robert Harrelson, Leslie (Bryan) Heller, Heather (Dallas) Lamb; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home.
