-Guyton- Mrs. Linda Goros, 68, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Effingham County Hospital.
Mrs. Linda was born in Savannah, Georgia, on February 21, 1949 to Robert and Mildred Whitten. She was a homemaker and a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Sylvania, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert "Bobby" Whitten.
Survivors include: her husband, Tonas Goros; sons, Tonas Goros II of Guyton and Timothy Goros of Guyton; daughter, Tonia Scholes of Port Wentworth; sister, Brenda Kelly of Guyton; half-sister, Tiny Morgan of North South Carolina; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 3 - 4 p.m. with a celebration of life to follow at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
