Linda Carolyn (Cooper) Lewis

Mrs. Linda Carolyn Lewis, 71, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Linda was born in Millen, GA on July 9, 1949, to Coley and Marjorie Cooper. She worked for many years at The Pirates House and Enmark.  Linda enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, watching her soaps but her greatest joy came through playing with her grandchildren and spending time with her loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Coley and Marjorie Cooper; and brother, Danny Cooper.

Survivors include: her sons, Roger Lewis of Bloomingdale and Johnathan Lewis of Stilson; daughter, Trisha Hurst of Bloomingdale; brothers, Coley Cooper (Brenda) of Bloomingdale and Harlton Keith Cooper of Rincon; sister, Martha Dean Bassett (Kenneth) of Millen; grandchildren, Amber Morris (Chris), Ashlyn Hurst, Nathan Lewis, Johnathan Lewis, Jr., River Ingram, Kane Lewis, and Jadelyn Lewis; great grandchildren, Skyler Morris and Sophie Morris; and her beloved four legged babies, Smokey and Miley.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home with the interment following the service at 1:00pm in Millen City Cemetery.
