On November 25, 1970 an angel was born to Luis Alberto Fernandez Sr. and Juanita Acevado. He was the second child and only boy from four children his parents had.  His sisters are Cathy Fernandez and twin sisters, Nydia and Nadia Fernandez.

Louie, as he was called, was born in Manhattan, New York, where he attended school. He had a love for motorcycles and bikes and boy did he love playing like a kid. Luis was always immensely helpful and was always giving to everyone in need.

Luis raised Yasmin, Luisito, Kenny, Genesis, Tabatha, Anthony, Jayden, Keishenna, Elijah, Chris,  Alexis and fostered many children. He was known to many as “Pops”. Louie’s biological son is Giovanni L. Fernandez, he was Louie’s pride and joy.

He was a loving partner to Jeannette Rosario for 22 years where they stood together through thick and thin. Luis loved to drive Jeannette crazy.

On August 23, 2020 at the age of 49, Louie’s life was cut way to short. He will be greatly missed by many family members, friends, and all the children he fostered and touched with his life.  He was also be remembered by “Psycho Lou 13”. His mark will forever remain.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Riggs Funeral Home in Guyton, Georgia on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 5 – 7pm.
