Lydia Louise Wallace Walton

-Springfield- Mrs. Lydia Louise Wallace Walton, 48, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Effingham County Hospital.
Lydia was a homemaker and attended Fellowship Assembly of God, where she was a Missionete Leader. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Lydia loved to laugh and everyone in earshot heard her. Other attributes that Mrs. Walton possessed was a love to give of her time, talents, and resources to serve others.
She laughed vivaciously, loved relentlessly and gave generously.
Survivors include: her loving husband of 24 years, David Walton; children, Adam Walton and Leah Walton of Springfield; father, John Randall Wallace, Sr. of Guyton; brother, John Randall Wallace, Jr. (Stephanie) of Rincon; sister, Krista Swensen (Rory) of Coalville, Utah; grandfather and step-grandmother, W.C. "Peck" and Joan Lawson of Guyton; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Albert and Katheryn Walton of Pooler; step-grandmother, Jenny Wallace of Guyton; and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Riggs Funeral Home on Sunday, July 16, 2017, from 3 - 5 p.m. A going-home service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017, in the chapel of Riggs Funeral Home, with interment to follow in the Guyton Cemetery.
