Mark Alan Fisher, 63, born on October 10, 1961, in Napa Valley, California, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Mark dedicated 40 years to his career as a welder, showcasing not only his skill but also a remarkable work ethic that inspired those around him. His commitment to his craft was matched only by his love for his family, who were the focal point of his life.
A kind and welcoming man, Mark was a fun-loving man who brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He loved the Lord and placed his family above all else, embodying the traits of a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Mark was not only a skilled tradesman but also a kind and welcoming person. Known for his fun-loving spirit, he enjoyed creating lasting memories with his family, who meant the world to him. As a master griller, he took great pleasure in preparing delicious meals, often bringing family and friends together around the grill.
In addition to his work and family life, Mark was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, activities that brought him great joy and fulfillment, providing him with opportunities to connect with nature and create lasting memories in the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Fisher and Rosalie Zimmerman; brother, Kenneth Fisher; and sister, Denice Fisher.
Mark leaves behind his loving wife of 20 years, Hope Fisher; sons, Stephen Grantham of Bloomingdale, Justin Fisher of Port Wentworth, Kenneth Fisher of Texas, and Hunter Fisher of Guyton; daughters, Stephanie Grantham of Statesboro, and Shannan Grantham of Guyton; grandchildren, Kylee Grantham, Jayden Grantham, Kaitlyn Grantham, Levi Adams, Madison Grantham, and Layla Adams. He also leaves behind his two beloved four-legged companions, Ace and Missy Fisher; and many other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held in Mark's honor on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home This will be followed by a funeral service at 2:00PM in the chapel of the funeral home.
