-Guyton-Mrs. Mary Frances Scott, 64, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah.
Mary was born in Savannah on December 18, 1957, to Donald and Mary McCollough. Always working hard to provide for her family, she worked for a number of years at Edwards Interiors. Known by her family and friends as a simple, kind-hearted lady, she always loved being at home and spending time with her family. A friend to many, she will be missed greatly.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary McCollough; and daughter, Tonya Barra.
Survivors include: her life partner, Remer Ellis of Brooklet; daughter, Jessica Jackson of Guyton; step-children, Jason Ellis (Lisa) of Springfield, Jennifer Ellis (Miguel) of Rincon, and Corey Ellis of Springfield; father, Donald McCollough of Coal City, Illinois; brothers, David McCollough (Andrea) of Coal City, Illinois, Donald “Wayne” McCollough (Ellen) of New Hampshire, Roger McCollough (Mary) of Texas, and Billy McCollough (Mary) of North Carolina; grandchildren, Caitlyn Bailey, Eijon Scott, Roby Robinson, and Dristan Alexander; and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at Carlson and Riggs Funeral Home on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 11am-12pm with a funeral service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
