Melva Moreno

Melva Moreno, at the age of 86 years old, passed away on May 19, 2021 at home surrounded by her son, David and daughter-in-law, Sheila.

She was born on June 8, 1934 in Panama City, Panama and lived in Miami, Florida most of her life before moving to Guyton, Georgia.

Melva dedicated her life not only to her children and grandchildren but also to her neighbors and church community.

Surviving are her sons, Jose, Samuel, David, Virgil, and Enrique; daughter, Jeanette; daughters-in-law, Carmen, Silvia, Sheila, and Janet; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and she is preceded in death by her daughter, Ana Cecilia.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm – 3:00pm on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow at 3pm in the chapel.
