Mildred (Marano) Johnson

Guyton- Mildred Marano Johnson, 77, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022, at Effingham Care Center.

Mrs. Johnson was born July 25, 1944, in Savannah to the late Nicholas and Pauline Marano. She lived in Savannah for most of her life before moving to Effingham in 2014.

She had a passion for her church and church activities, reading and listening to gospel music.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Robert and Teresa Johnson of Guyton; and sisters, Priscilla Kimery of Texas, and Joanne Weathers of Savannah.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Effingham Memorial Gardens.
