Mr. Columbus Cordell Bazemore

-Guyton- Mr. Columbus Cordell Bazemore,80, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Bazemore was a veteran in the United States Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a salesman for Springfield Ford, worked for Union Camp Corporation, was a truck driver and attended Guyton United Methodist Church. He enjoyed farming, gardening and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Sigrid Bazemore; two sons, Samuel V. Bazemore of Guyton and Cordell A. Bazemore of Savannah; two daughters, Zigi Nickle and Ingrid J. Williams both of Guyton; one sister, Annis Scott of Hiltonia; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and three family pets, Buggie, Baby and Lucky. Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Guyton Cemetery.
