Mr. Emory Lewis, Sr

-Rincon- Mr. Emory Lewis, Sr.,73, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Candler Hospital. Mr. Lewis was born in Millen, Georgia and lived Effingham County for a number of years. He was a veteran serving in the Air National Guard of Georgia, an aircraft mechanic at Gulfstream Areospace and a member of God's House. Survivors include his wife, Gail Lewis of Rincon; son, Emory Lewis, Jr. (Shawny) of Tampa, Florida; daughters, Theresa Renee Lewis of Rincon and Deborah McMillon (Richard) of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Erma Jean Thompson of Millen; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Thursday, March 12, 2015, from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral Services will held on Friday, March 13, 2015, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at the Springfield Annex. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to God's House, 5513 McCall Road, Rincon, Georgia 31326.
