Mr. Leslie Miles Ellis

-Springfield- Mr. Leslie Miles Ellis, 55, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at Atlanta Medical Center after a long illness. Leslie was born in Savannah Ga., but lived in Effingham County for a number of years. He was a long time welder, carpenter and handyman. He is preceded in death by his parents, RC, Sr. and Helen Ellis. Survivors include his two brothers, Remer, Jr. (Mary) Ellis and William (Theresa) Ellis both of Springfield; special friends, Donna and Johnny Perkins of Clyo and Ms. June Chavous of Springfield; numerous aunts, uncles nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Corinth Baptist Church from 2 - 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016, with funeral services to follow at 3 p.m., with Rev. Rick West officiating. Interment: Church Cemetery Riggs Funeral Home Guyton, Georgia
