-Dublin-Mr. Marion Copeland Simpson, 94, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Charlie Norwood VAMC in Augusta, Georgia. Mr. Simpson was a Veteran of U.S. Army serving in WWII, he was a barber, a farmer and of the baptist faith. Mr. Simpson is preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Reba Lois Crumley Simpson; son-in-law, James Harvey Blaylock and grandson, Christopher Edward Stevens. Survivors included his daughters, Gloria Blaylock of Springfield, GA, Mary Campbell (Mick) of Winter Springs, FL, and Brenda Stevens (Charles) of Guyton; grandchildren, Adam Campbell, Diane Horton, Jennifer Register, Brad Stevens, Tom Campbell and Ian Campbell; 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 12 - 1 p.m. with funeral services to follow in the chapel of Riggs Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Red Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery at 4:30 p.m. in Soperton, Georgia.
