Mrs. Mildred Barnes

-Rincon- Mrs. Mildred Barnes, 86, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Effingham County Extended Care Facility. Mildred was born in Monticello, Georgia and lived in Rincon, Georgia for a number of years. She was a member of Rincon Church of Christ and worked for Gulfstream Aerospace. Mrs. Barnes is survived by: her daughter, Donna Moore (Michael) of Irmo, South Carolina; sons, Franklin Barnes of Rincon, Kevin Barnes (Joye) of Whitmarsh Island and Lawrence Barnes of Rincon; sisters, Clyde Dickey, Myrtle Hall (William), Gwendolyn N. Hunt, Patsy Wilson (Charles), Lennis Kessler and Irma Kessler; sister-in-law, Christine Kessler; brothers, Dennis Kessler (Donna Faye), Everett Kessler and Allen Kessler; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. at Rincon Church of Christ with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Don Davis officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Pittman, Chris Barnes, Steven Barnes, Richard Dickie, Roger Dickie and Mike Stone.
