Mrs. Pamela Gail Newman Gordy

Springfield -Mrs. Pamela Gail Newman Gordy, 53, passed away, June 12, 2015. Mrs. Gordy was born in Augusta, Ga., but lived in Springfield for a number of years, she was a substitute teacher and a member of Tusculum Christian Church. Survivor include her daughter, Morgan Gordy of Springfield; three brothers, Charles Newman of Savannah, Mickey Newman of Summerville, South Carolina, and Sammy Newman of Augusta; one sister, Mary Ann Copeland of Buffalo, New York and a number of nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 10-11 a.m. at Riggs Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment Guyton cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made towards funeral expenses. Riggs Funeral Home Guyton, Ga.
