Norman Lee Chapman Sr.

Rincon- Norman Lee Chapman Sr., 65, gained his wings on December 25th, 2021.

Norman was born on August 4, 1956, to his parents Frank and Retha Chapman in Savannah, Georgia.

Norman was an adventurous person who loved being outdoors.  He loved his family and spent time with them regularly.  From yearly lake trips, daily bicycle rides, to being the number one fan at every event for his grandkids; he was one of a kind.  He was a truthful man that would tell you what you needed to hear and not what you wanted to hear.  His wife was always his priority and took care of her until the end.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers, Carnell, Carey, Earl, Chuckie, Jackie; and his grandson, Aiden.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen of 45 years; daughter, Tabitha (Brent); son, Norman, Jr. (Heather); grandchildren, Tristen, Sutton, Laykin, Anna; brothers, Roy Chapman, Eugene Chapman, Denny Chapman, Sr., and Jerry Chapman; sister, Patsy Mardula, and many nieces and nephews.

He was a hard worker and instilled that work ethic in his family.  Norman was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and he leaves a legacy that he was surely proud of.

A funeral service will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

Interment will follow the service in the Rincon City Cemetery.
