-Springfield- Mrs. Pamela Colleen Griffin, 64, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Memorial Hospital in Savannah.
Mrs. Pamela was born in Augusta, Georgia on August 11, 1952 to Ernest and Wana Smith. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: son, James Benjamin Arthur Mensing (Sarah) of Savannah; daughters, Angela Michelle Kaiser (Russell) of Reston, VA, Tami Colleen Miller (James) of Savannah, Amanda Leigh Roe (Timothy) of Springfield and Amy Rene' Mensing of Savannah; brothers, Kenneth Smith (Shelli) of Corona, CA, Eddie Smith (Laurie) of Corona, CA, Barry Smith (Kira) of Grovetown, and Ronnie Smith of Corona, CA; sisters, Annette Briglin (Dean) of Springfield, Marlene Wade (Wesley) of Augusta, Faith Cook (Jim) of Summerville, SC and Susan Davis (Chris) of Chesnee, SC; companion, John Griffin of Springfield; friend, Arthur Mensing of Savannah; 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 2 - 4 p.m. with services to follow at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
